The short version, in plain words.
Written to be read. If any of this is unclear, that is our failure and we would like to hear about it.
What this service is
We source. An employer writes a brief, our engine ranks published profiles against it, and people who consent appear on a shortlist. We are not an employer of record, not an agency, and not a party to any agreement you reach.
We witness agreements so both sides hold the same record. We never process the money.
What employers pay
Previewing a shortlist is free and always will be. Unlocking one is a single flat charge, and a structured interview is optional and charged separately. Both current amounts are published on the pricing page and shown to you before you pay.
There is no subscription, no seat licence, no placement fee and no percentage of anybody's salary. If a slate is not worth the unlock fee, do not unlock it.
What professionals pay
Nothing, at any point. Not to join, be matched, be shortlisted, be interviewed or be hired.
There is no premium tier and no featured placement. Paying us cannot move anybody up a ranking, and there is no mechanism by which it could.
Consent and visibility
A profile is never listed, searchable or browsable. It is compared against a brief and shown to an employer only after that person accepts a specific match.
Declining is not recorded against you, not aggregated, and never shown to employers.
Snapshots
When you accept a match, your profile is frozen as it stands at that moment. That snapshot is what the employer reads. Editing your profile afterwards does not change it — which protects you as much as them, since nobody you are ranked against can edit their way past you either.
Documents
We do not collect or store identity documents, clearances, or the resume file itself. Resumes are converted to text, read once, and the file is discarded.
An employer asking you to upload identity documents through this platform is breaching our conduct standard. Report it.
Honesty
Misrepresenting your experience ends the account. This is the one rule with no gradations, because the whole product is a claim that what an employer reads is true.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time. Snapshots on slates an employer already paid for keep an anonymised entry, so somebody who paid is not left with an unexplained hole.

Questions about any of this?
The conduct standard covers behaviour on both sides, and the privacy page covers what we hold. Both are short too.
